TIA Information

The advent of the Internet allows the Tennessee Inventors Association (TIA) and similar organizations to work together to promote innovation nationwide. "Our knowledge is your knowledge". The following are news items and links that may be of interest to inventors and innovators, including those local to the Knoxville - Oak Ridge area and beyond.

• Everyday Edisons will be airing on Thursday, July 3rd at 8:30pm. Tune in to the Knoxville PBS station to see Season 2 of this realistic and informative show.
  
  
• August 16, 2008, is the scheduled date for the TIA Seminar Opportunities for Innovation in East Tennessee.
  
  
• On March 21 the Knoxville News Sentinel published an article about the TIA on the front page of the Business Section. The article quotes our very own Martin Skinner.
  
  
• On March 16, 2008, the Knoxville News Sentinel published an article that the Tennessee Technology Development Corporation, TTDC, is offering grants of up to $4000 to qualified businesses that need assistance to apply for federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants.
